The 4th US-China CEO Roundtable, co-hosted by CCPIT, China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), and US-China Business Council (USCBC), was held online on October 20th. CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shaogang and USCBC President Craig Allen attended and addressed the roundtable. Wang Jiang, President of the Bank of China (BOC), and Tom Linebarger, Chairman of Cummins Inc., co-chaired the event.

Zhang Shaogang pointed out that the economic and trade cooperation between China and the United States is a market behavior, and its fundamental driving force comes from the business community. As the world’s top two economies, China and the United States have formed economic relations with highly complementary structures and closely linked interests. Business circles from both sides must strengthen cooperation, take a long-term view and set a common goal, so as to promote the economic development of the two countries.

Representatives from 6 Chinese companies including BOC, SINOMACH, COFCO, CICC, Fosun International Limited and Lu'an Chemical Group, and 6 American companies including Cummins, General Motors, FedEx, Boeing, and Anda Group attended the roundtable.
