Ren Hongbin Meets Virtually with Chair of B20 Indonesia Shinta Kamdani

On September 21st, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met virtually in Beijing with Mrs. Shinta Kamdani, Chair of the Business 20 (B20) Indonesia and Vice Chairwoman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The two sides exchanged views on encouraging Chinese business community to deeply participate in B20 Indonesia, strengthening bilateral cooperation, and boosting bilateral trade and investment.

Ren Hongbin said that facing current complicated international situation, B20 Indonesia conducted policy consultations centering on its theme topics and offered suggestions on the sustained and sound development of the global economy, playing a positive role in promoting cooperation of international business community and improving all countries' well-being. Chinese business community has deep involved in B20 Indonesia through putting forward many constructive suggestions in policy consultations, and hopes that B20 Indonesia can develop a positive and balanced policy recommendation report as soon as possible on the basis of extensive consensus, so as to contribute the business community's wisdom and strength to steady recovery of world economy. CCPIT stands ready to strengthen cooperation with Indonesian business community to implement the significant consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Joko Widodo, and jointly upgrade China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation.

Shinta Kamdani commended CCPIT's longstanding contributions to advancing China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation, as well as its strong support for B20 Indonesia. She welcomes Chinese entrepreneurs to attend the B20 Summit in Bali in November.

CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shaogang and Yu Jianlong, and officials of relevant departments also joined the meeting.
