On the afternoon of February 28th, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met in Beijing with Zhou Xi’an, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Anhui Province, and his entourage. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further deepening cooperation and jointly promoting high-quality economic growth of Anhui Province.
Ren Hongbin said that the CCPIT attaches great importance to and supports the economic growth and social progress of Anhui Province and the two sides have conducted a number of effective practical cooperation in recent years. By making full use of its rich overseas resources and platform advantages, the CCPIT will provide support in attracting investment and building a sound business environment, and promote more integrated, demonstrative and beneficial cooperation, so as to help Anhui province further open up and achieve high-quality development.
On behalf of Anhui provincial government, Zhou Xi’an expressed his gratitude to the CCPIT for its support in and help with Anhui’s trade promotion work, and briefly introduced the overall economic and social development of Anhui Province. He said that in the past year, Anhui’s trade promotion served the development of an open economy and market players, and facilitated investment attraction and talent gathering. Nowadays, all work has reached a new stage, and its work style and service effect have been significantly improved. Anhui Province stands ready to deepen cooperation with the CCPIT, accelerate the construction of a new system of open economy, and strive to build Anhui into a new highland of reform and opening up.
Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT, and other officials in charge also joined the meeting.
