Ren Hongbin Virtually Meets with ICC Secretary General John Denton

On September 9th, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), met virtually in Beijing with John Denton, Secretary General of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The two sides exchanged views on such topics as further deepening exchanges and cooperation.

Ren Hongbin said that against the backdrop of a complicated and volatile international environment, ICC has kept making voice on the international stage and encouraging the international business community to carry out economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, and has achieved remarkable results. The CCPIT and CCOIC stand ready to deeply engage in ICC's various projects, and work with the ICC to promote the development of global economic governance system and build more international platforms for Chinese and foreign enterprises to expand cooperation.

John Denton thought highly of the role of CCPIT and CCOIC in connecting governments and enterprises, and advancing economic and trade exchanges. He hopes that the Chinese side will play a greater role, and more Chinese enterprises will cooperate with the ICC to jointly promote global economy and trade.

CCPIT Vice Chairman Yu Jianlong and officials of relevant departments also joined the meeting.
