CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shaogang Leads a Delegation to Visit Georgia

From October 14 to 16, Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Georgia, where they met respectively with Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Gobechia, Vice Chairman of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and David Saganelidze, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Georgian Development Fund. They exchanged views on such topics as further facilitating international cooperation in industrial and supply chains, facilitating exportation of quality goods from Georgia to China, encouraging Chinese companies to invest in Georgia and promoting the implementation of Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of Georgia. They also promoted the activities of the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and the Georgia-China Xinjiang commodity exhibition in 2024.

In addition, the delegation visited Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhou Qian and went to Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd. in Tbilisi for research.
