From December 6 to 8, the 17th China Arbitration and Judicial Forum and the 4th Development Forum of Arbitration Institutions in Medium-sized Cities were held in Sanmenxia, Henan Province. Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Chairman of the China Academy of Arbitration Law, attended and delivered a speech.
Yu Jianlong pointed out that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has made new arrangements for deepening the reform of the arbitration system, improving the international commercial arbitration and mediation system, and fostering first-class international arbitration institutions. Facing the future, China's arbitration should make efforts to enhance the credibility of arbitration, deepen the international exchanges and cooperation on the rule of law, develop international commercial arbitration services, speed up the pace of digitally empowered international commercial arbitration, and make greater contributions to promote the high-quality development of international arbitration.
With the theme of “Improving the International Commercial Arbitration System and Promoting the Construction of Arbitration Credibility”, the Forum was organized by the China Academy of Arbitration Law under CCPIT, and was attended by more than 300 delegates from law firms, enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes, and nearly 90 arbitration institutions all over the country.
