The Opening Ceremony of CCPIT/ CCOIC Mediation Center Successfully Held

On the morning of January 2, the General Office of the Supreme People's Court and the Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) issued a notice on the establishment of a central online litigation and mediation mechanism for commercial disputes, and the opening ceremony of CCPIT/CCOIC Mediation Center was successfully held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, and Mao Zhonghua, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court attended and addressed the event.

During the event, Ren Hongbin and Mao Zhonghua jointly attended the plaque unveiling ceremony of the CCPIT and CCOIC Mediation Center. Nearly a hundred attendees participated, including officials from relevant departments of the Supreme People’s Court, as well as representatives from regional and industrial Sub-councils of the CCPIT.

The CCPIT Mediation Center is a permanent mediation institution that provides impartial and independent assistance to both Chinese and foreign parties in resolving commercial, maritime, and other disputes through mediation. Currently, CCPIT has established 76 mediation institutions in China, with cooperative mechanisms in place with dispute resolution institutions in 23 countries and regions around the world.
