Thailand-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and 3rd CISCE Thailand Roadshow Successfully Held in Bangkok, Thailand

On January 21, the Thailand-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Thailand Roadshow, jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, were successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand. More than 300 people attended the meeting, including Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the CCPIT, Suchart Chomklin, Thailand Deputy Minister of Commerce, ‌Narongsak Putthapornmongkol, President of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of the C.P. Group, Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Board of Trade of Thailand, Narucha Ruchuphan, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment, Vikrom Kromadit, Chairman of the Thailand-China Business Council, Kriengkrai Thiennukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), as well as representatives from business associations and enterprises of the two countries.

Ren Hongbin stated in his speech that the CCPIT has long been committed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand and is willing to work with Thailand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries. It will take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations as an opportunity to redouble efforts for practical cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, improve trade cooperation and expand investment cooperation areas. Besides, it will also welcome the Thai business community to actively participate in the 3rd CISCE, deepening their industrial and supply chain cooperation.

Representatives from Thailand's political and business circles, including Suchart, ‌Narongsak Putthapornmongkol, and Dhanin Chearavanont, stated that China and Thailand have built a stable and prosperous community with a shared future, and their mutually beneficial cooperation has yielded abundant fruits in areas such as economy, culture, and technology. Representatives from Thailand  will actively participate in the 3rd CISCE in group, commit to connecting the production and trade networks of the two countries, actively integrating into the Chinese industrial chain and global market, and continuously promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation to new heights.

China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC Group) signed a letter of intent to participate in the 3rd CISCE with relevant Thai enterprises and institutions on site.
