From February 22 to 24, Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to Qatar to boost bilateral economic and trade ties and promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the visit, Yu Jianlong met separately with Jeroen Nijland, Deputy Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, and Abdul Rahman, General Manager for the Far East region of Qatar Energy. He provided an overview of China's economic outlook and its latest opening-up measures, emphasizing the need for stronger efforts to foster practical cooperation between the business communities of China and Qatar. He also invited the Qatari business community to actively participate in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) to deepen bilateral industrial and supply chain cooperation.
During the visit, the China Chamber of International Commerce and the China-Qatar Industrial Park jointly hosted the China-Qatar Entrepreneurs Exchange Meeting and the 3rd CISCE Promotion Meeting. Yu Jianlong attended and delivered a speech at the event. Enterprises and institutions from the two sides also engaged in numerous business negotiations and exchange activities, resulting in significant cooperation achievements.
Furthermore, the delegation also paid a visit to the Chinese Ambassador to Qatar, Cao Xiaolin.
