On February 26, 2025, local time, the China-Saudi Arabia Entrepreneurs Round Table Meeting and the Promotion Event for the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, and others attended and addressed the event.
Yu Jianlong stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Saudi Arabia relations have entered a new era, with fruitful results from bilateral cooperation. Over the years, China and Saudi Arabia have jointly promoted the deep integration of the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Vision 2030. The cooperation projects under the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Saudi Arabia have achieved significant results, injecting strong momentum into the economic development of both countries. The purpose of hosting this event is to implement the "five cooperation frameworks" proposed at the 2024 China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF), to jointly promote the development of emerging industries, and to strive to open a new chapter in which the modernization of China and Saudi Arabia contributes to the modernization of the Global South. The CCPIT looks forward to working hand in hand with the Saudi business communities to promote cooperation between enterprises of the two countries with greater efforts.
The attending guests expressed that there is enormous potential and broad prospects for economic and trade cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia. In the future, it will be committed to promoting the upgrading of China Saudi Arabia economic and trade cooperation, jointly advancing high-quality development of Belt and Road, strengthening communication and cooperation, creating a better business environment for enterprises, further improving the level of trade facilitation, reducing trade costs, and promoting two-way investment. Saudi companies and institutions will actively participate in the 3rd CISCE to build stable and mutually trusting industrial and supply chain partnerships.
This event is jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), with a focus on promoting the 3rd CISCE during the event. Enterprises and institutions from China and Saudi Arabia have actively engaged in business negotiations and achieved multiple signing results.
