On March 21, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to Serbia. During the visit, Ren paid a courtesy call on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The two sides exchanged views on deepening and elevating the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership, strengthening China-Serbia pragmatic economic, trade cooperation and jointly advancing high-quality development of Belt and Road. Additionally, Ren expressed China’s active support for Serbia's hosting of the Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade and Serbia will actively organize enterprises to participate in the third China International Supply Chain Expo.
Ministers from Serbian Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming attended the meeting.
