From March 24 to 25, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) visited Shandong Province for research. During his stay, he held a working meeting with Zhou Naixiang, Governor of Shandong Province, to have in-depth discussions on pushing for a higher-level open economy of Shandong, accelerating the development of new quality forces, and developing local industries with unique advantages.
Over the same timeframe, the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Shandong Promotion Event and Signing Ceremony was held in Jinan. Ren Hongbin communicated with exhibitor representatives on how to support enterprises’ engagement in international cooperation, better integration into global industrial and supply chains, and their well-performed exhibition at the CISCE. At the event, a group of Shandong enterprises signed contracts with the China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC Group) to participate in the CISCE, and the first list of 130 professional visitors and purchasers from Shandong was released. Song Junji, Vice-Governor of Shandong Province, attended relevant activities. Over 200 participants, including relevant responsible officials from the CCPIT, the CCPIT Shandong Sub-council and all city-level sub-councils, attended the conference.
