On March 27, during his visit to Brazil, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with Geraldo Alckmin, Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services of Brazil, in Brasília.
The two sides exchanged views on aligning the Belt and Road Initiative with Brazil’s strategic development plans, promoting trade and investment cooperation, advancing inclusive and beneficial economic globalization through multilateral platforms such as BRICS and the G20, and participating in events like the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and the China-LAC Business Summit.
Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Zhu Qingqiao and some members of the delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs attended the meeting.
