CCPIT Vice Chairman Yu Jianlong Leads Delegation to Zambia

From April 6 to 8, Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China International Chamber of Commerce (CCOIC), led a delegation to visit Zambia, aiming to enhance bilateral economic and trade relations, and proactively promote mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises of both countries.

During the visit, Yu Jianlong held separate meetings with Albert Halwampa, Director General at the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), and Anthony Kabaghe, President of the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI). They exchanged views on Zambia’s current trade and investment priorities, the potential for deepening China-Zambia economic cooperation, future cooperation between CCPIT and the two institutions, and the participation of Zambian enterprises in the upcoming 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).

While in Zambia, the delegation also met with Wang Sheng, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia, and conducted on-site visits to China Railway Seventh Group Co. Ltd.,  China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Zambia, and the Tanzania-Zambia (TAZARA) Railway.
