First 2025 Series Training Seminar on Chinese Enterprises Going Global and Briefing on Green Agriculture Investment Held in Suzhou

On April 24, in order to enhance the quality and level of enterprises’ overseas investment, the first 2025 series Training Seminar on Chinese Enterprises Going Global and Briefing on Green Agriculture Investment was successfully held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.

Officials from relevant departments of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as well as experts from institutions such as the Central University of Finance and Economics, the Commercial Legal Service Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Agricultural Bank of China, gave lectures on key concerns for enterprises, including the policies, legal compliance, financing, and risk mitigation regarding Chinese agriculture going global; representatives from enterprises going global shared their experiences on overseas investment; executives from the new types of agricultural economic and trade parks that China has jointly established with BRI partner countries and the Green Agriculture Chains of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) conducted promotion sessions. The symposium for Chinese enterprises going global and field research in relevant local enterprises were also organized during the seminar.

The training was jointly hosted by the CCPIT Department of Industry Promotion and the Foreign Economic Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Nearly 190 representatives from 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country attended in person, and approximately 3,000 people watched the training live online.
