The Foreign-Invested Enterprises Tour in Jiangxi was successfully held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province from April 13 to 14 as the first 2026 edition of the “Local Tour” brand event for foreign-invested enterprises of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). During the tour, CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin met with heads of relevant foreign business associations and foreign-invested enterprises, along with Yin Hong, Secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, and Ye Jianchun, Governor of Jiangxi Province. They also attended and addressed the Government-Business Dialogue and Investment Promotion Event, and conducted enterprise visits. Provincial leaders Chen Yongqi and Xia Wenyong participated in related activities.
Co-hosted by the CCPIT and the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government, the event represents a practical step by the CCPIT to implement the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the key priorities of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), improve foreign investment service and support systems, and support Jiangxi in becoming a pioneer of reform and opening up in China’s inland regions. More than 50 senior executives from over 30 foreign trade promotion agencies, foreign business associations in China, and foreign-invested enterprises attended, including heads of 10 Fortune Global 500 companies. At the Government-Business Dialogue and Investment Promotion Event, relevant authorities and cities from Jiangxi promoted the local business environment, and more than 10 provincial-level institutions responded on the spot to cooperation interests and concerns raised by the foreign-invested enterprises.
