On June 24, the Inauguration Ceremony of CCOIC Outward Investment and Cooperation Working Committee and the Conference on High‑Quality Going Global and Enterprise Cooperation was successfully held in Beijing during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), Jacob Lee Chor Kok, President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Tamara Kabar, Representative of the Energy and High Value-Added Manufacturing Investment Promotion Department of the Ministry of Investment of Jordan, Yang Yisheng, Deputy General Manager of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC), and Yu Weijiao, Chairman of YTO Express, among other Chinese and foreign guests, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
Liu Jiannan stated that the establishment of the CCOIC Outward Investment and Cooperation Working Committee is a concrete measure to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping's important instructions on improving the comprehensive overseas service system and guiding the rational and orderly cross-border layout of industrial and supply chains, as well as a vivid practice that responds to enterprise expectations and strengthens overseas comprehensive service capabilities. He expressed his hope that going-global enterprises will seize the opportunities of the era, dare to pioneer and innovate, and grow stronger amid the wave of global industrial and supply chain restructuring. The Committee will continuously gather industry synergies and enhance service quality and efficiency, providing support for outgoing enterprises to participate in international cooperation and competition while safeguarding their legitimate overseas rights and interests.
During the event, the Inauguration Ceremony of the CCOIC Outward Investment and Cooperation Working Committee was held, and the list of the committee's director-general units, deputy director-general units, and the first batch of founding member units was released. The event also featured a dialogue session on country and regional investment opportunities, and organized a roundtable discussion and exchange under the theme of "Cross-border Finance Empowering Industrial and Supply Chains to Assist Enterprises in Overseas Layout."
Hosted by the CCOIC, the event was themed "Empowering Outward Investment, Forging Ahead for Cooperative Growth." It brought together over 300 participants, including representatives from relevant government departments, trade and investment promotion agencies, business associations, embassies in China, as well as Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs.
